Crazy for You
by Jennifer Crusie
Mass Market Paperback
Published in 2000
ISBN-10: 0-312-97112-5

I have an extra copy of this book. I read this over a year ago. It’s a good book, just not the usual Crusie book in my mind. It’s got a little bit of stalking, and lots of romance. I love it! I bet you would too. I laughed at times, but the psycho beau gives me the willies. But then, any stalker will do that for you. You can read chapter 1 here if you’re not convinced. But this is a Crusie, and a must read.

Back of the book said:
Quinn McKenzie has always lived what she calls a “beige” life. She’s dating the world’s nicest guy, she had a good job as a high school art teacher, she’s surrounded by family and friends who rely on her, and she’s bored to the point of insanity. But when Quinn decides to changes her life by adopting a stray dog over everyone’s objections, everything begins to spiral out of control. Now she’s coping with dog-napping, breaking and entering, seduction, sabotage, stalking, more secrets than she really wants to know, and two men who are suddenly crazy…for her.

Charlie All Night (Harlequin Temptation, No 570)
by Jennifer Crusie
Paperback
Published in 1995

Here’s another Crusie for you from Harlequin Temptation. This is the Harlequin line that I used to read in my early teens. It’s like contraband. I imagine it’s as exciting as smoking weed. I never tried weed, but just try reading a book with a couple hugging on the cover and the guy is half naked…during church services.

See, I told you it’s like contraband. Imagine how it feels when I was caught, right in the middle of discussing the Revelations, with a totally different revelation of my own. BTW, it wasn’t a Crusie book, but it was Harlequin Temptation, and I was only 12. Oh, the shame of it all! It never stopped me from reading, only I had to be craftier than the last time.

Anyone But You (Harlequin Love and Laughter, No 4)
by Jennifer Crusie
Paperback
Published in 1996

I enjoyed this book so much, I went and bought all of Jennifer Crusie’s book. She will make you laugh til you get stitches. She’s that good. I kept a copy of her books for re-read, but noticed that I have two of some of her books. If you haven’t tried Crusie, what are you waiting for?

Product Description

For Nina Askew, turning forty means freedom–from the ex-husband, freedom from their stuffy suburban home, freedom to focus on what she wants for a change. And what she wants is something her ex always vetoed–a puppy. A bouncy, adorable puppy.
Instead she gets…Fred.

Overweight, middle-aged, a bit smelly and obviously depressed, Fred is light-years from perky. But he does manage to put Nina in the path of Alex Moore, her gorgeous, younger-by-a-decade neighbor.

Alex seems perfect–he’s a sexy, seemingly sane, surprisingly single E.R. doctor–but the age gap convinces Nina that anyone but Alex would be better relationship material. But with every silver-haired stiff she dates, the more she suspects it’s the young, dog-loving doc she wants to sit and stay!
