Congratulations! Please contact me with your mailing address so I can send your books out. Stay tune for more books! Summer is very busy for me. All five kids are home, and I had to sneak blog between activities. There are so many. I blog when they’re watching TV, but it’s not that often. BTW, if you have a review of the book you won here, send me your link and I’ll link to your review.

Have you got any travelling plans for the summer?

Just to have something different, I decided to post three books at once. I’ll have it under ‘Bundle’ drawings where there’s more than one books and more than one winner. When I go to random.org, I’ll ask for 3 random numbers from the poll of comments and the winner will get one of the books 3 books.

You can mention which book you’d like to get, and if there’s more than one person wanting that book, it will go with what number comes first.

You can increase your chances of winning by having a creative comment. I leave that to you. Bring some people along so you can leave more comments, increasing your chances of winning. Let’s just have some fun over this one. You can blog about this one, and that is an extra entry. Make sure to leave the specific link in the comments.

Btw, stay-tuned for the next post where you leave me your blog link that carries my button. I got plans for you button-hanging friends of mine. :P

We have a winner! I meant to post this one days ago, but then I couldn’t access my site. I thought it didn’t work, but it turned out that it won’t work on internet explorer on MY computer only.  Duh! (My two years old would say that for me.) I had to change template, and it took me over two hours to get everything just the way I wanted them. I still cannot make the “thread comment” work correctly. It works on the other template. I am just really glad that this site finally opens up on my computer.

Congratulations to Christy H. for winning Candace Camp’s An Independent Woman. This book is posted by Dumspirospero. I usually have a sticker with the book, but this one will be shipping from MN. Christy H. contact me with your address and the title of this blog post.

Hi everybody! This is Carrie (DumSpiroSpero) posting. I’ve been inspired to give away some of my books as well, so I asked for the chance to use this blog as my venue since my blog has a small readership while this one’s becoming established. I’m attempting to keep the same format that you’re all used to but I don’t really know what I’m doing, so bear with me! :) It’s been a while since I read this book, but I enjoyed it very much at the time.

A reader review from Amazon.com:
A Candace Camp historical romance is always a delight. An Independent Woman is one of her best. Julianna Holcott & Nicholas Barre are childhood friends who faced orphanhood together. Fifteen years later, Nicholas is now Lord Barre. He returns to England to claim his inheritance and find Julianna, who is now a paid companion. Nicholas proposes marriage to his dear friend, thinking he can maintain a marriage of convenience. Candace Camp captivates us throughout the pages as the desire builds between Julianna and Nicholas. They return to his estate to be married, an estate and inheritance his cousin Crandall and Aunt Lilith have been maintaining for him throughout the years of his absence. The story takes a turn with a murder on Julianna & Nicholas’s wedding night, with a Clue-like cast of characters as the possible culprit. A touching Cinderella story with a bit of mystery and suspense. An enjoyable read!
