PhotobucketNight Play (Dark-Hunter, Book 6)
by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Mass Market Paperback
Published in 2004
ISBN-10: 0-312-99242-4

I find myself with an extra copy of Night Play. This is from Kenyon’s series, the book that brought me to vampire and werewolves and shift-shifter land. My friend Harlot was the reason I read the book. Now, I bought every book that comes out of this author. It is the 6th one of the series, but really, each book is a stand-alone story. I think if you read this, chances are, you’re going to love her too.

If you’re like me and just want to read everything she write, you can buy from here.

From the back of the book:
Bride McTierney has had it with men. They’re cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor. She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur…

Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn’t what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride’s case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn’t looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered–something no self-respecting wolf can accept…

But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win

We have a winner for our book #32: Midwives: A novel by Chris Bohjalian. If you want to read more about this author, you can check out his website. This particular book is also a movie starring Sissy Spacek. If I am not mistaken, she’s also the girl from Stephen King’s Carrie.

Congratulations to Alessandra! Please contact me with your mailing address. My e-mail is accessible at my contact page.  I hope you enjoy the book and let me know if you happen to post a review. I’m thinking of having Mr. Linky to keep up with review links.

I thought of a game we’d play. I’m not sure about you, but I always have a book I re-read. It’s like having cookies when I’m upset. I’d grab this book and read it. I’m thinking, why not share that book around? We could make a weekly game out of it.

No matter how many new books I’d buy, and how tall my TBR piles are, there’s always a book or group of books that I would grab and just read. Do you think there’s enough in this to make a game of it? We could include any re-reads, past and present and future.

I’m thinking of having Mr. Linky for all the re-read posts. I even made some button below. I also want your input on which day we can start this game, and maybe even have a whole week or two to play each time.

Play with us, click this button

Okay, I’ll wait what you have to say. Stay tune for new winners and new books I’ll list. BTW, any particular genre you’d like to see? Just curious.
